Qatar’s new friendly visa measures attract more visitors to its shopping festival Shop Qatar, the biggest shopping festival in this Middle Eastern country, has been able to attract more  International Visitors  after the nation introduced new visa measures, according to a QTA (Qatar Tourism Authority) official. Alshaima al-Shaikh, QTA’s head of tourism events and festival organisation section, was quoted by Gulf Times as saying that they were feeling nice after seeing more visitors attend it from neighbouring Oman and Kuwait in addition to other international visitors because of its  New Visa Policies . Addressing reporters at a press conference on Shop Qatar on 15 January, she said that they were witnessing a great response and announced many activities for the Bollywood Week of the annual festival. Manitoba issues 178 Letters of Advice to Apply in last 2017 draw A total of 178 skilled workers were invited to apply for provincial nomination on December 29 through the  Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The province invited 133 candidates in the  Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream  to apply, with the lowest ranked candidate invited at a score of 545. An additional 45 skilled workers were invited under the  Skilled Worker Overseas Stream .  The MPNP conducts draws based on an Expression of Interest (EOI) system wherein potential candidates submit an EOI to the province and their profiles are assigned a score based on the answers provided. The highest scoring candidates from the EOI pool receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) to submit an application for a provincial nomination from the Government of Manitoba. Visa on Arrival, Modi’s Gift To US Tourists! Indian PM Modi’s visit to USwill make things easier for US citizens intending to visit India as tourists. India’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is working overtime to complete the work on the VoA ( Visa on Arrival ) proposal, as early as possible. This is likely to be one of the ‘big-ticket announcements’ that the PM is likely to make during his visit commencing from Sept 26th.
